What is packaging exactly?

Packaging is everything that is attached to your product or contains your product to protect, enhance, inform, and entice. Packaging comes in many different forms, shapes and sizes from blister packs, cardboard hang tags, beauty boxes and craft containers.

If you are unfamiliar with packaging, it is imperative that the design company you select to create your products packaging has enough experience to guide you through the entire process. Did you know the difference between a 3.5' square box and a 3.75": square box can be several thousand dollars on a large run? It is the difference between a stock die (the tool used to cut the box shape) and a custom one.

Wow! I had no idea. So - what do you do exactly?

Fair Price Studio can handle your packaging project from start to finish. We can source (find) vendors (the folks who make the boxes) for you near you area. We can speak their language and can get package samples sent to you for review. Once you have selected the package you wish to use (or decided to go with something custom) we step back in, obtain the die line (the pattern of the box) and begin the design process.

After the reviews are completed, Fair Price Studio will work with your selected packaging vendor, supply them with the design files, and do our best to ensure the packaging manufacturer supplies you with the very best product.

As we have no real control over the packaging vendors you select we can not guarantee their quality or performance. We do however, guarantee that our files will be print ready, die line true, and properly formatted.
