Have it YOUR Way!

The web keeps getting bigger and your options keep getting better! It used to be that websites were at the mercy of a few cross platform and cross browser fonts. These were know as "Screen Fonts". The reasoning for this was to ensure that your web site looked the same (or as close to the same as possible) on all available browsers and platforms. That was then...

Introducing Google Web Fonts!

Google states:

Google Web Fonts lets you browse all the fonts available via the Google Web Fonts API. All fonts in the directory are available for use on your website under an open source license and are served by Google servers.

BUT WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

With the introduction of Google Web Fonts designers, programmers, and clients are no longer bound to screen fonts. You, us, and we - now have the ability to choose from a large library of available fonts from Google. Click HERE to browse whats available.

Drawbacks?

This is new technology. There are some considerations such as slowed site performance, differences in font handling between browsers, and some specific considerations for programmers. But - all of us at Fair Price Studio still think its wicked cool. Thanks Google!

Steven Hayes has been a long time client of Fair Price Studio. He always brings us something interesting! This project was a new one for us, a site dedicated to Laundries. Thats right, like, laundry mats. Some neat features other then the wicked cool soapy design, include a blog, RSS feed set to display small business news, and a free classifieds section where people can buy and sell laundry equipment. The site is also a great resource for anyone looking to get into the business. Laundry 4 Sale, we are here 4 you!
